My husband Frank and I presented a paper at the Fibonacci Conference at Morelia, Mexico, in July, 2010.

Marjorie  Bicknell Johnson is fascinated by ancient civilizations. She has accompanied archaeologists to Maya ruins in the Yucatan and Central America. As a pilot, she has flown small airplanes throughout the American Southwest and taken off under a bridge in a floatplane.

A mathematician and teacher, her articles have appeared in The Fibonacci Quarterly and other academic journals. She has written two novels as well as short stories published in anthologies. Marjorie and her husband Frank, both pilots and both native Californians, live near San Francisco.

Fibonacci Association President Bill Webb gave me an award for 46 years of service to the Association at the conference in Morelia.
